Erica’s Lighthouse
Erika’s Lighthouse is a Wisconsin-based mental health non-profit organization focused on helping kids who struggle with depression and preventing suicide. To make that possible, they provide valuable information, engaging activities, and insightful presentations. Their organization partners with schools nationwide to ensure students know they matter and that there is always a way through depression towards hope.
Letterhead Iterations
Over the course of a few years, I worked with the marketing team to design and produce graphics that support different engagement and information-sharing endeavors. Before the start of our partnership, Erika’s Lighthouse had undergone a logo update and rebrand. In need of new marketing materials on a tight budget, they reached out. What began initially with a new letterhead grew into a strong design relationship, producing banners for email newsletters, event promotion flyers, and activity worksheets.

Industry: Non Profit Project Type: Internal Publication
Role: Graphic Designer Media: Digital and Print
When examining their new brand aesthetic, I determined that their new brand voice was best represented through a few major and consistent design choices. Bold primary colors, dynamic diagonal shapes, black and white photography with color overlays, strong yet narrow typefaces for headers, and cheerful, energetic layouts would draw the attention of and clearly inform a school-oriented audience, including teachers and students.
