Founded in 1975, Chaosium Inc. is a US-based roleplaying game company. One of the biggest names in the tabletop game industry, some of the most iconic of their releases include RuneQuest, Call of Cthulhu, and HeroQuest. It has been my pleasure to get to work on another of their incredible games, King Arthur Pendragon RPG.
While working on an updated beginner's guide in the series, the Chasoium team wanted to invoke an old-school aesthtetic. They saw in my work a likeness to the art of Lisa Free, a fantasy illustrator who previously worked with Chaosium in the 80s. It was a natural fit.
In all, I made 11 illustrations, spanning a variety of size and thematic criteria.
